"Surface-mounted" luminaire cabling offers a number of advantages compared to the flush-mounted variant. Cables are laid visibly on the surface of walls or ceilings, making installation easier and more versatile. Adjustments and changes can be made much more easily without having to make holes in walls, which saves time and money. Cables are also easily accessible for maintenance work or repairs. Surface mounting can also create visual interest, reminiscent of factory buildings from the last century.
The BEGA surface-mounted frame makes it possible to convert standard ceiling and wall luminaires for surface-mounted cabling – with a simple accessory component to match the colour of the luminaire. This means that inappropriate drilling in luminaire housings can be avoided.
To enable quick and easy installation, the surface-mounted fitting is first mounted on the wall. The luminaire is then attached to the surface-mounted fitting and the electrical connection can be made.
2 cable entries are created on each of the 4 sides so that the required cable entries can be made neatly in the surface-mounted fitting without the need for a surface-mounted pipe/duct.
