LED recessed ceiling and wall luminaires

for external On/Off or DALI power supply units

LED recessed ceiling and wall luminaires in various outputs and sizes for installation in suspended ceilings. When the appropriate installation housing is used, the luminaires are also suitable for installation in concrete ceilings.

Together with the installation surface, the hand-blown three-ply opal glass forms practically one plane and distributes the light uniformly in the room. These almost flush-mounted recessed luminaires enable a calm and harmonious surface design for walls and ceilings and achieve high degrees of illuminance. In the illuminated state, this results in an interesting contrast between the luminaire and mounting surface.

The luminaires are available with fixed or variable colour temperature (tunable white).

By adjusting the colour temperature you can adapt the illumination perfectly to your lighting requirements or to the required mood. Colour temperatures of between 2,700 and 6,500 K can be selected, perfectly covering the colour temperature range that is felt to be ideal.

When making the recessed opening in concrete ceilings, it is advisable to use an installation housing. Installation housings are accessories and must be ordered separately.

Luminaires with fixed colour temperature can be optionally connected to an on/off power supply unit or DALI power supply unit by means of simple plug connectors. External power supply units for operating these luminaires are accessories and must be ordered separately.

Luminaires with variable colour temperature (tunable white) are delivered complete with an external DALI power supply unit. They can be controlled by DALI colour light control (DT 8, TW). We recommend our BEGA Control system for this purpose.

The luminaire luminous flux and the luminaire connected wattage quoted in the table might change as a result of technical progress. On our website you will find data sheets with information on each luminaire concerning not only the current values but also the LED service life and the luminous flux in relation to the respective colour temperature.

Planning examples

On the basis of our empirical values and the suggestions of architects and planners, we have compiled room situations for which lighting design is frequently required. In the following, we shall present possible illumination solutions for these architectural situations. It goes without saying that all technical lighting standards are complied with. In some cases, the degree of illuminance proposed by us may even exceed the standard. For us, the aesthetics of light and a high level of visual comfort are important criteria for such decisions. At the same time, the form and the size of the luminaires must fit into the architectural surroundings. For example, we often recommend larger models if a structure has large dimensions – even if smaller luminaires with lower output would be enough. In such cases, the degree of illuminance can be reduced to a suitable level by means of a light control system.

When guests walk through a hotel corridor, they are guided by recessed ceiling luminaires whose light illuminates the corridor uniformly. The luminaires are installed flush with the ceiling. The glass has stainless steel trim rings.
