Accessories for linear recessed wall luminaires

Technical data

When making the recessed opening, it is advisable to use an installation housing.

Our installation housings are specially adapted to BEGA luminaires and allow technically perfect installation in walls.

In addition, plaster frames should be used when luminaires are installed in brickwork or concrete walls that will later be plastered.

Installation housing for the installation of luminaires in insulated façades. Suitable for insulation depths from 120 to 200 mm. The modular structure and the composition of the individual insulation elements in 20 mm increments allow for flexible adaptation to the insulation system.

Comprehensive tests carried out by Passivhaus Institut Dr. Wolfgang Feist confirm that the design is free of thermal bridging. The additional increase in the regular heat transfer coefficient of the wall is ΔU < 0.01 W/(m² · K).

To plaster-finish the housing you need a plaster frame – for either surface-mounting installation or flush-mounting installation of the luminaire. Plaster frames are accessories and must be ordered separately.

If luminaires are to be installed in brickwork or in concrete walls that will later be plastered, aluminium plaster frames suitable for the installation housings should be used.
