WiFi light building elements

Symmetrical or asymmetrical flat beam light distribution · optionally with 1 adjustable floodlight


BEGA WiFi light building elements are luminous and structure-forming components for public areas. These luminous design elements are needed for example in pedestrian zones or in public places in inner-city areas. These are the places where publicly accessible WiFi is in demand and almost taken for granted today. We have designed and developed the new BEGA WiFi light building elements specially for these requirements – bringing light and WiFi together in one place. BEGA WiFi light building elements are the perfect installation locations for the necessary technology.

The required planning and start-up service is provided by our telecommunications system partner “The Cloud Networks Germany GmbH” based in Munich, which has established and positioned itself as No. 1 and independent European market leader for public WiFi. “The Cloud” offers a comprehensive service package, and optionally the required VDSL connection to operate the system.

BEGA WiFi light building elements are available either with symmetrical or asymmetrical flat beam light distribution. In addition, it is possible to choose an integral LED floodlight to illuminate architectural details in the immediate vicinity of the luminaires.

The luminaire luminous flux and the luminaire connected wattage quoted in the table might change as a result of technical progress. On our website you will find data sheets with information on each luminaire concerning not only the current values but also the LED service life and the luminous flux in relation to the respective colour temperature.

Optional VDSL connection

In order to operate the system, “The Cloud” offers an optional provider-independent VDSL connection.

Depending on the situation, this service may not be necessary – for example wherever a DSL connection is available. Otherwise, individual project solutions can be worked out.

Lighting technology

BEGA luminaires are available with different lighting parameters to provide efficient solutions for demanding lighting applications in a wide range of architectural situations. Additional components allow flexible and constructive lighting planning with BEGA luminaires.


Optionally with adjustable floodlight

These new light building elements can be used for various lighting applications in your lighting plans. They are ideal for the energy-efficient illumination of streets, parking spaces and traffic-calmed areas. On the other hand, they enable the illumination of architectonic details in the immediate vicinity of the luminaires. Façade elements, trees and other design elements in public spaces can be impressively accentuated with the additional LED high-performance floodlights.

The inclination angle of the individual floodlights is adjustable from 0° to 30°.
The individual floodlights can be rotated by 360° around the vertical axis of the light building element.


LED technology

LED technology has redefined acquired standards and assessment criteria and created undreamt-of possibilities for designing with light. The sum total of its advantages makes this technology a milestone in lighting technology.
We use the superiority of LED in the development of new luminaires, but also in the technical perfection of existing luminaire series. In doing so, we go well beyond the applications normally expected on the market. We do this responsibly, competently and with a sense of proportion – but above all reliably. After all, reliability and a high standard of product quality are among our elementary values and convictions.In the development of our luminaires, therefore, thermo-management represents a great challenge. Efficiency and service life are already convincing and still improving. Module output and shape are variable and can be perfectly adapted to each luminaire. In addition to using high-grade components, we have also made design-related changes which contribute to favourable temperature conditions inside the luminaires.
