“Phenomenal lighting”

A highly modern facade, unusual angles and, according to the photographers drawn to the building, “phenomenal lighting” characterise the administration offices of the American city of Chandler in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This elegant five-storey building with its attractive landscaped inner courtyard was designed to act as more than just administration offices and a congress centre for local politicians: it is a place for people to meet and interact.

In the planning phase, the architects of the SmithGroup used the fascination of accentuated lighting to emphasise the beauty of the complex and its architecture. BEGA light building elements with light emission on two sides serve as illuminating design instruments for this popular focal point for the citizens of Chandler. In correspondence with BEGA bollards with internal louvres and wide beam light distribution, they guide pedestrians on the paths and squares around the City Hall.

In the car parks, BEGA light building elements provide safe and efficient illumination for traffic.
