Exceptional material properties, remarkable visual quality and – last but by no means least – superior light output are the cornerstones of our underwater floodlights. They are the optimal solution for the illumination of ponds, water pools and water features in private and public areas. The cast brass used in these luminaires is the optimal material for long-term underwater use. The alloy is a lead-free alternative to conventional brass materials and is highly resistant to weathering. The material is resistant to seawater and has drinking water approval – as documented by the HW1011DQ0117 certificate.
A 24V DC version is available for use in swimming pools and walk-in pools in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-702. Suitable 24 V DC power supply units are optional accessories and must be ordered separately.

The internationally active DVGW Cert certification body assigned its DVGW conformity seal after 20 months of continuous testing. The certification applies to all parts that come into contact with water – including cast brass, stainless steel and plastic components, as well as gaskets.
BEGA was the first company to undergo and successfully complete this certification process for underwater luminaires.
The EU Directive 2020/2184 (Drinking Water Directive) formulated new legal obligations for operators of water supply systems and property developers. They refer to products that are intended to come into contact with drinking water and may be used for the installation or maintenance of such systems. The directive, which has been significantly tightened up once again regarding the hygienic suitability of materials, will apply in future in parallel to the existing German legal standard. These BEGA products have successfully passed the certification process in accordance with applicable guidelines.
