Light distributions and areas of application for BEGA track spotlights

BEGA track spotlights represent a powerful range of ready-to-use spotlights for integration into 3-phase Eurostandard Plus® track systems.

Choose from a broad and varied selection of light outputs and light distributions to find the right spotlights for your requirements. You too can benefit from the light and product quality of our technologies and optical systems.

Use optical filters or our BEGA zoom spotlights with adjustable half beam angle for more flexibility.

The specific lighting application, the architectural characteristics and the performance spectrum of the luminaires used must all be considered together in the lighting design. Apart from the degree of illuminance, the light distribution is a decisive parameter when selecting suitable luminaires for targeted implementation of the desired staging.

Our track spotlights are compatible with all Eurostandard Plus systems, as well as products from popular manufacturers.

On-site requirements or precisely defined presentation specifications require a great deal of flexibility, and not only for luminaire placement in tracks. These luminaires are also available with zoom optics so that several half beam angles can be used to precisely implement the lighting design. The light distribution can be flexibly set by simply adjusting the lens unit and then changing as required.

Apart from basic illumination, they can also handle detailed presentations with impressive lighting results. Precision in the implementation of nearly all lighting applications and the quick change options for the half beam angle characterize the particular flexibility of these track spotlights.

BEGA zoom spotlights feature infinite adjustment of the half beam angle between 15º and 50º. The ideal setting for the specific requirements can be conveniently selected and adjusted at any time using the rotating lens unit. Use optical filters as accessories to modify the factory-set light distribution: flat beam, symmetrically diffuse, asymmetrical.

These track spotlights are ideal for use in shops, bars or lounges.

Symmetrical wide beam

Track spotlights with wide beam light distribution highlight individual areas of the overall space for an accented presentation of particular surfaces or functional areas.

Symmetrical very wide beam

Wide beam light from DALI controllable luminaires provides basic illumination. This attracts the necessary attention to the presentation highlighted in this context.

If the goal is to achieve particularly striking, bright illumination or the spotlight needs to be installed at a greater distance from the illuminated surface, these track spotlights with their high output are the ideal lighting tools.

Symmetrical wide beam

Track spotlights with wide beam light distribution highlight large areas of the room to accent particular surfaces or functional areas – coordinated with the colour pallet.

Symmetrical very wide beam

Wide beam light from DALI controllable luminaires can provide basic illumination.

RGBW & Tunable white

In the RGBW version lighting design is expanded with freely selectable colour effects. Whether in shops, bars or lounges: The colour presentation supports the company’s corporate design. Highlights on new products or special features are given a special and heightened focus thanks to the use of colour and high light outputs.

Tunable white luminaires These can be varied between cold and warm white illumination and are therefore suitable for different forms of presentation.

Narrow beam

Narrow beam light distribution is used to accent individual objects – for example, on the presentation platform of a shop, museum or gallery, spotlights can highlight the protagonists of the overall staging.

Wide beam

Wide beam light distribution attracts focus to important zones like shelves, display stands, showcases, traffic routes and recreational spaces. Individual areas in the room are given a particular highlight. Attention is drawn to individual areas in the room.

Very wide beam

Wide beam light distribution allows for uniform illumination of the room. For example, brightening wall surfaces can make rooms appear bigger.

Symmetrical very wide beam

Symmetrical wide beam light distribution provides very uniform illumination. Presentation platforms appear larger thanks to uniform and continuous illumination of wall surfaces.

Asymmetrical wide beam

With asymmetrical wide beam light distribution, vertical surfaces are illuminated in a nearly rectangular pattern. This uniformity enhances the entire space. The presentation platform of a shop, museum or gallery allows visitors to experience the presentation with particular intensity.
