System bollards

Unshielded · Light emission 360°

As a modular system, BEGA system bollards enable luminaire heads and bollard tubes to be combined with various additional functions.

In lighting systems, luminaires of different heights or with additional functions, but with the same design and lighting technology, are often required. As part of our system bollard range, we offer bollard tubes with built-in floodlights, emergency lighting batteries, motion and light sensors, control modules, BEGA Vehicle Blocker® drive-through protection, lockable sockets and charging module inserts for electric vehicles.

In addition to aluminium bollard tubes, we also offer component-free bollard tubes, made of a combination of cast aluminium and Accoya® wood. Simply order the bollard head and the desired bollard tube. The two modules can be quickly and easily connected to one another during installation.

These unshielded luminaire heads, from our modular system bollard range, emit their light symmetrically through 360° around the installation point. Luminaires for the illumination of pathways, squares and entrance areas.

BEGA system bollards The modular bollard concept

We are pleased to present a modular bollard concept in the form of BEGA system bollards. The technical requirements that luminaires have to meet are increasing all the time, especially in the planning of lighting systems of all shapes and sizes. For example, it should be possible to switch luminaires by means of motion sensors, to secure traffic routes with emergency lighting in the event of a power failure, or to fit them with additional sockets or floodlights.

By means of a robust mechanism, we have made it possible to combine bollard heads and bollard tubes with integrated auxiliary components at will.

Simply order the luminaire head and your preferred luminaire tube to go with it. Both modules can be connected quickly and easily during installation.

Park
A walk through a park: The pedestrian walkway is flanked by bollards, whose unshielded light illuminates the path uniformly. An arrangement of luminaires along the edge of the path with spacing of 5.5m apart is chosen for this. The shrubs and trees are illuminated from within the ground. For a homogeneous impression, large trees are illuminated with two in-ground luminaires. The colour temperature of the light is 3,000 K.
