Stainless steel in-ground luminaires

The quality of the luminaires’ stainless steel housings is of the highest standard, as is the overall quality of all components. These luminaires can be driven over by vehicles with pneumatic tyres.

In terms of lighting technology, our in-ground luminaires are characterised by an extensive range of light characteristics. The luminaires are available as location luminaires and as floodlights with various light distributions. The optical systems of the luminaires with minimised diffuse light percentage prevent glare and improve visual comfort.

The RGBW luminaires can be controlled by DALI colour light control (DT8, RGBWAF, xy, TC).

When the glass is wet, there may be a risk of slipping. For walkable public areas, we recommend skid-blocking glass in accordance with DIN 51130  R 13. R after the article number, we can supply all luminaires with skid-blocking glass. This increases the dispersion of the light distribution.

On request, the luminaires are available in the light colours green, blue, amber and red.

20-year availability guarantee for replacement parts and LED modules

These luminaires are also available with BEGA Ultradark Optics®. These lenses feature a minimised diffuse light percentage and highly efficient glare suppression on the luminaires – for perfect illumination and eye comfort. Detailed information about BEGA Ultradark Optics®

Targeted light from the ground upMatrix floodlights

The innovative optical system extends our range of in-ground luminaires to include a targeted solution for custom lighting requirements. Once configured, the luminaire will then access a predefined setting in On/Off mode, or call up one of many saved scene configurations via DALI.

Park
A walk through a park: The pedestrian walkway is flanked by bollards, whose unshielded light illuminates the path uniformly. An arrangement of luminaires along the edge of the path with spacing of 5.5m apart is chosen for this. The shrubs and trees are illuminated from within the ground. For a homogeneous impression, large trees are illuminated with two in-ground luminaires. The colour temperature of the light is 3,000 K.

Advertising space
The illumination of advertising spaces repeatedly presents new challenges. A change in motif from a very light to a dark motif, or vice versa, requires an adjustment of the degree of illuminance for the advertising to be effective. In this case, a control unit for the luminaires is strongly recommended in order to provide numerous options for illuminating advertising posters. In the following, we should like to present tried and tested solutions, and show you the differences in light effects on an advertising space of 4 x 6 m.

Commercial building entrance
The covered area in front of a commercial building is illuminated from a great height with efficient downlights. The focus is placed on the square pillars supporting the roof using very narrow beam in-ground floodlights on the front side. On the sides and at the rear, they benefit from the light of the downlights. A roof panel projecting over the entrance is fitted with recessed ceiling luminaires to emphasise the way into the building. The illumination level here is about 100 lx. The general lighting of the interior space and of the commercial rooms is effected with large-format, very flat ceiling luminaires.
